I just figured it out. Thank you Haley. I was thinking today what’s the point of learning French? Or any language? Why go to college for foreign language when the world is trying so hard to learn my language? And then I watched Haley’s video and thought, boy she’s good. But why is she learning guitar? Everyone knows guitar, and there’s a thousand people as good as her. But she does it because she likes it, because it makes her happy. And the truth is, I enjoy speaking French. I enjoy speaking Spanish too. I like to speak other languages. So now I have to ask, why have I been justifying my love for languages? I learn language because it makes me happy.
